Often described by students as the most challenging yet rewarding course they ’ ve ever taken, the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue Diver Course takes your skills to a whole new level. You ’ll learn how to prevent, manage, and respond to diving emergencies — both underwater and at the surface — while building confidence in your ability to assist others while keeping yourself safe. This course is highly recommended to be taken together with the React Right Training course, since a valid EFR certification (within the last 24 months) is required to complete Diver Stress & Rescue Diver training.

Prerequisites:

• Proof of SSI (Jr.) Open Water Diver & (Jr.) Advanced Open Water Diver certification, or equivalent from another recognized diving organization
• Must answer a health questionnaire & sign consent and waiver form
